Meet our Collective

The people who make this whole thing work. We’re a group of singers, creatives, organisers and behind-the-scenes doers who came together through a shared love of music, community and showing up properly for one another. Everyone here brings something different: voices, ideas, time, energy, care. Some of us lead, some support, some quietly hold everything together... but every person you’ll meet on this page is part of the heart of what we do.

Dee Wright

Dee is a founding member and has been a guiding force ever since. A songwriter, vocal coach and musical director, Dee brings clarity, calm and an unwavering belief in people, often before they believe in themselves. She has an extraordinary ear for music, a deep respect for storytelling, and a rare ability to hold high standards while creating a space that feels safe, joyful and human. Not to mention her powerful 3 octave range! Dee supports the Collective with musical direction, vocal development, arrangement, and creative vision.

Harri Harris

Harri (Haribo) Harris joined the Collective in 2024 as a founding member and has been bringing energy, generosity and serious creative flair ever since. As our choreographer, she has an incredible ability to shape a full visual picture, blending vibrant, playful movement with choreography that is evocative and genuinely moving. Harri’s voice is soulful and sassy, her presence is magnetic, and her energy lifts everyone around her. Tiny but mighty, she’s our pocket rocket.

Nella Cooper

Nella joined the Collective in 2024 as a founding member and quickly became part of its heart. She briefly stepped away to walk the Camino de Santiago — an incredible achievement — and we loved following her journey along the way. Nells brings a gentle, calming energy to the Collective and is rarely seen without a smile. In the Christmas term of 2025, she performed her first solo with a stunning rendition of Somewhere Only We Know, leaving the room completely still. A beautiful presence in every sense — inside and out.

Julia Woodward

Julia is always there when the Collective needs her — practical, honest, and endlessly dependable — with a knack for stepping in and helping out in every situation. Known affectionately as Jules, she’s straight-talking, warm-hearted, and much loved by everyone. Julia has a lovely soprano voice and performed her first solo with Cadence singing Rainy Days and Mondays. Over the past two years she has gone from strength to strength, growing in confidence and presence — and when it comes to sourcing brilliant raffle prizes, she’s in a league of her own.

"Cadence are both incredibly talented singers and tremendously kind people. It was such a joy to attend their summer show. On behalf of everyone at Julia's House, thank you for helping to care for the most seriously ill children in our community. do you take the opportunity to see Cadence perform, and sharing the beginning of something very special."

Martin Edwards

CEO Julia's House

"It was a privilege to be at the extraordinary debute live public performance of the talented vocal performance group called Cadence.

Having done no prior research, I was amazed with the range of vocal ability and harmony.

The poise, confidence and delivery of each and every member of the group was 100%.

Their bond of friendship, and mission to support local charities with an obvious joy of singing and fun, will carry them so very far. And we will be a better community for them.

So many first time public solos, delivered flawlessly, with each song occupied and embodied believably was marvellous.

Do take the opportunity to see Cadence perform, and share in the beginning of something very special"

Mayor George Farquhar

"I was invited to attend a Cadence event as a Julia's House Children's Hospice family member.

I didn’t quite know what to expect and was a little nervous it might be too loud or overstimulating... Christmas can be notoriously noisy, bright and flashy but it turned out to be an absolutely incredible evening of festive joy and stunning voices.

We had front-row seats, sitting alongside the Mayors, and Julia’s House CEO Martin who was wearing the most ridiculously tall elf hat! 🎄

Such a special night... uplifting, inclusive and full of Christmas magic as well as raising money for a charity close to my family."

"I went to the launch event and I had a thoroughly amazing time watching you all. The whole thing was just wonderful! You would never know that it was your first show. I've played your debut single of Hallelujah umpteen times, I love it so much! Everything is for charity, that's fantastic, you're a wonderful group of people! I am looking forward to everything you do in the future. Well done Cadence"
